10-Position Housing for the Dynamic D-3200 Power Line
Its 0.200" (5.08mm) pitch and 0.300" (7.62mm) row spacing give it the creepage and clearance needed for a 600V-rated system — the housing itself is the dielectric envelope that supports that voltage rating when mated with the correct header. The black thermoplastic, polyester, glass-filled housing carries a polarizing key that forces correct orientation during mating, a practical safeguard on a harness assembly line where a reversed connector means a rework.
What the 5.08mm Pitch and Polarizing Key Mean for the Build
The 5.08mm pitch is a standard power-connector spacing — wide enough to route 14-18 AWG wire with the matching crimp terminals without forcing tight bends at the header posts. The 0.300" row spacing sets the overall housing width at roughly 0.600" across the outer walls, so the mated pair occupies a known board-edge footprint. The polarizing key is a molded-in rib on the housing interface; it mates only with the complementary slot on the Dynamic D-3200 header, which eliminates the risk of a 180-degree mis-mate during field service or harness assembly.
The housing accepts the contacts after crimping; they lock into the cavity with a positive retention lance.
