6-Position Plug Housing for Power Distribution
The TE Connectivity 3-917809-3 is a 6-position plug housing from the Dynamic D-5200 series, designed for panel-mount power interconnects where a large 10.16 mm pitch keeps creepage and clearance comfortable for higher-voltage wiring. The housing accepts crimp tab contacts (sold separately) and includes a polarizing key to prevent mismating in multi-connector harnesses.
The 10.16 mm pitch and dual-row layout (6 positions, 2 rows) give each circuit room to carry the series' rated current, which for the D-5200 family is typically in the 30 A to 50 A per contact range depending on wire gauge and temperature. The polarizing key on the housing ensures the plug only mates with the correct receptacle, saving a headache during harness assembly.
