The 338069-6 is a 6-position, 2-row receptacle on 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch — a common footprint for board-to-board or cable-to-board links in automotive and general-purpose builds.
Surface-mount assembly and contact finish
Termination is solder to SMD pads — the 0.100" pitch gives enough room for hand-solder rework or reflow. Tin-on-tin contact finish is fine for moderate mating cycles; if the application sees frequent disconnect, gold plating on the header side helps. The housing is red polyamide PA46 glass-filled, rated UL94 V-0 and handles -40°C to 105°C — fine for underhood or cabinet environments.
