Board-to-Cable/Wire Header for Power Harnesses
Its 0.250" (6.35mm) pitch and matching 0.250" row spacing give you generous room for routing power traces or high-voltage isolation slots on the PCB.
Pitch and Layout — What Fits on the Board
At 6.35mm pitch, this header occupies more board area than the 4.20mm-pitch sibling 1318699-3, but the trade-off is simpler routing: you can run wider traces between pins without necking down, and the 3-row grid keeps the footprint compact for a 6-position power connector. The through-hole solder tails are 0.215" (5.46mm) long, suitable for standard 1.6mm PCBs with enough protrusion for a reliable solder fillet. All 6 positions are loaded, so there's no empty pin location to confuse the mating receptacle keying.
