Board-to-wire header with locking ramp
The 350828-1 is a 9-position, 3-row header in the Universal MATE-N-LOK series, designed for board-to-cable/wire connections. The 0.250" (6.35 mm) pitch and matching row spacing set the footprint for the PCB layout and define the mating interface with the corresponding receptacle. A locking ramp on the housing provides positive retention against vibration and accidental disconnection once mated with the receptacle half. The header is through-hole soldered to the PCB; tin plating on both the mating surface and the post suits moderate mating-cycle applications where gold is unnecessary.
Flame-rated nylon and sourcing status
The insulator is natural polyamide (nylon) rated UL94 V-0, meeting the flame-retardant requirement for equipment inside an enclosure.
