What This Plug Housing Is
It uses a 0.138" (3.50 mm) pitch — wider than typical signal connectors, giving it room for larger-gauge crimp terminals and higher current per circuit.
The housing accepts the standard Multi-Lock crimp contact; the terminal part number depends on your wire size and plating preference (tin vs gold). Always confirm the terminal order code against your wire AWG before committing the BOM line.
Mating and Locking
The latch lock holds the plug to the mating header or receptacle — it's a positive retention feature, not just a friction fit. The single-row layout means the connector is narrow; it fits in tight cable-routing paths where a dual-row would be too wide.
