The 100.0 µinch (2.54 µm) thickness on the mating finish is generous for a signal header — it provides a durable contact interface for repeated insertion and extraction in prototyping or low-cycle production use. Insulation height of 0.090" (2.29mm) keeps the body low above the board — useful when the mating receptacle sits in a tight z-height budget.

The square pin profile (0.025" square typical for AMPMODU Mod II) provides a reliable four-point contact with the receptacle spring beam.
