3-Position Sealed Receptacle for Harsh-Environment Harnesses
It's a free-hanging, in-line connector designed for wire-to-wire or wire-to-device harnesses where moisture and temperature extremes are the norm. Sealed construction and a -40°C to 140°C operating range put this squarely in underhood automotive, off-road equipment, and industrial washdown environments — not a dry-box connector.
What You're Actually Getting — and What You're Not
The housing comes with a slide-on fastening system and a blue PBT, glass-filled body. It's a single-row, 3-way receptacle that accepts female socket contacts via crimp termination. The critical note: contacts are not included. Ordering just this part number gets you an empty shell — you'll need the matching MCP 1.5K crimp socket terminals separately to populate it. The sealed feature means an integrated interfacial seal or grommet keeps water and dust out of the cavity, which is what makes this housing viable for engine bays, pressure washers, and chassis harnesses.
