Board Fit and Pitch Constraints
The 0.049" row spacing matches the pitch, so the footprint is a compact 6×1.25 mm grid. Push-pull fastening means it's a friction-lock mate — no latch, so it's fine for low-vibration environments but not for automotive or heavy machinery.
Tin-on-tin mating finish keeps the cost down but limits the connector to a low number of mating cycles before fretting corrosion starts. For a product that gets mated once at build and then stays connected, tin is fine. Tin wets well with standard lead-free solder profiles, and the PPS housing handles reflow temperatures without distortion.
