RAST 5 header for appliance power entry
It carries 4 positions on a 5.00 mm pitch, with a full 4-wall shroud and a latch holder for secure mating with the corresponding RAST 5 receptacle. The 250 VAC rating and UL94 V-0 flammability rating support use in mains-isolated appliance applications.
The through-hole termination with a 0.138" (3.50 mm) post length provides a solid solder joint for the 250 VAC power path. Compared to a 2.50 mm pitch sibling like 1-2232960-3, this 5.00 mm pitch gives more room for routing wider traces or higher voltage clearance on the PCB, at the cost of a larger connector footprint.
