11 positions, 0.100" pitch, right-angle exit
The 4-641216-1: This is a single-row MTA-100 header with 11 positions on 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch, terminated through-hole and exiting the board at a right angle. The shrouded 1-wall design and integral friction lock keep the mating connector seated under vibration — the lock is the feature that separates this header from a plain breakaway post.
Mates with MTA-100 receptacles
No separate latch hardware required. The 0.100" pitch and single-row layout are common across the MTA-100 family, so any 11-position MTA-100 receptacle with a friction-lock slot will mate.
11 positions vs 10 and 18
Compared to the 10-position sibling (4-641126-0), this part adds one circuit and upgrades the mating gold thickness from 15.0µin to 30.0µin — a meaningful difference if the application calls for more than a handful of mating cycles. The 18-position version (4-641215-8) shares the same 30.0µin gold and friction lock but packs seven more circuits into the same single-row footprint.
