Board-to-Cable Header for Harness Builds
The 4-794619-4: This 14-position, 3.00 mm pitch header is the board-mount half of the Micro MATE-N-LOK wire-to-board system. The right-angle orientation lets the cable exit parallel to the PCB, which saves vertical clearance in tight enclosures. The shrouded - 4 wall design protects the male pins during handling and guides the receptacle into alignment before the locking ramp engages.
Gold Plating for Repeated Mating Cycles
The mating contact finish is 15.0 µin gold over the brass base material, which handles repeated insertion/withdrawal without the fretting corrosion that tin-on-tin interfaces can develop in vibration. The solder tails are tin-plated (100.0 µin) for compatibility with standard lead-free soldering processes.
Board Lock and Locking Ramp for Vibration Resistance
Two board locks anchor the header to the PCB during reflow and resist the shear force from cable strain. The locking ramp on the shroud mates with the corresponding latch on the receptacle, keeping the pair mated under vibration.
