The 4-794629-2 is a 12-position, dual-row header from the Micro MATE-N-LOK series, designed for board-to-cable/wire connections. The 3.00mm pitch and 0.118" row spacing match the standard Micro MATE-N-LOK receptacle footprint, so the board layout stays consistent across the series. Right-angle SMT termination keeps the cable exit parallel to the PCB, saving vertical space in enclosures where height is tight. The shrouded 4-wall housing protects the male pins during handling and guides the mating receptacle into alignment. The locking ramp on the header latches with the matching receptacle, giving an audible click that confirms full mate — useful in vibration-prone environments like industrial cabinets or near motors.
