Board-to-wire header for vibration-resistant SMT designs
The locking ramp on the shroud provides a positive mechanical latch with the mating housing, making it suitable for environments where vibration could otherwise back the connector pair apart.

The header is surface-mount only, so the board must have SMD pads matching the pin pattern. Solder retention features add mechanical grip during reflow, but the primary board retention comes from the solder joints; no through-hole anchors are present. The 4-wall shroud prevents the receptacle from being inserted upside down or misaligned.
