With a 2 GHz maximum frequency and 500 V voltage rating, this is a 75 Ohm variant of the ubiquitous BNC — not the more common 50 Ohm version, which is an important distinction when matching system impedance.
The body is machined zinc with a nickel finish, giving it a silver appearance. The dielectric is PTFE, which keeps insertion loss low through the 2 GHz band and maintains the 75 Ohm impedance. The single-port, single-female design is a straight PCB-mount jack.
Environmental Range
The PTFE dielectric and silver-plated contacts hold stable RF performance across that range.
