Eight-position FFC housing — contacts ordered separately
The 485893-6 is an 8-circuit FFC housing from TE Connectivity AMP Connectors, accepting male contacts (not included) for FFC or discrete wire terminations. Rated 1.5 A per contact at 300 V, the housing uses a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch single-row layout with a detent lock for retention.
Wire and FFC fit — 22-32 AWG, 0.05-0.13mm flex
Accepts 22-32 AWG discrete wire with insulation diameter 0.025" to 0.056" (0.64mm to 1.42mm), or FFC thickness 0.05-0.13mm — the same housing works for both, but the mating contact type differs.
