The 499910-1: The latch lock/eject hooks secure the mating half and provide a positive retention under vibration — the short hooks clear the cable strain relief on the receptacle side. The tin-lead post finish (100.0 µinch) is compatible with standard wave-solder profiles.

This header mates with AMP-Latch receptacles. The keying slot and mounting flange prevent mis-mating and provide mechanical alignment during board assembly.
