The 5-103080-6: Through-hole solder termination provides mechanical retention through wave solder; the 0.130" (3.30mm) post length is standard for a 1.6mm PCB thickness.
Current and Contact Reality
Rated 3A per contact at 25°C ambient. In a board-to-board application with all 8 positions active, the total current through the header is 24A — but the derating curve (not shown here) should be checked if ambient exceeds 85°C. For a single-mate, field-fixed assembly, tin is the economical choice.
