22-position dual-row header at 0.100-inch pitch
The 5-103168-9: The 4-wall shrouding protects the male pins during mating and prevents misalignment with the receptacle. Rated at 3 A per contact, the current limit is set by the contact cross-section and the thermoplastic housing's thermal capacity. The detent lock provides a positive retention force against vibration-induced disconnect, typical for board-to-cable applications where the header mates with a receptacle on a wire harness.
Shrouded body and gold-plated contacts
The 4-wall shroud with a 0.440" (11.18 mm) insulation height encloses the pins, guiding the mating receptacle and protecting the contacts from accidental shorting during handling. This gives a clear board standoff and enough post length for a reliable through-hole solder joint.
