The 5-103635-5 is a 6-position single-row header from the AMPMODU MTE series, on 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. It mounts right-angle through-hole, so the pin axis runs parallel to the board — useful for edge-mating or space-constrained enclosures where a vertical header won't fit. The gold side handles repeated mating cycles; the tin tail solders cleanly to the board. Full 4-wall shrouding protects the pins from accidental bending during handling, and the latch holder locks the mating housing in place — a real advantage in vibration-prone environments like automotive or industrial cabinets.
Mating and termination checklist
This header mates with AMPMODU MTE receptacle housings (e.g., 103635-series) that accept the matching crimp terminals. The latch holder on the header engages the latch on the receptacle for a positive lock — no secondary fastener needed.
