The 5-103635-9 is a 10-position, single-row header from the AMPMODU MTE series, designed for board-to-board or cable connections. Its 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches standard ribbon cable and discrete wire housings, and the right-angle orientation places the mating axis parallel to the PCB—useful when the board sits near an enclosure wall or another tall component. The mating contacts are gold-plated (15.0 microinches), which resists corrosion and maintains contact resistance through repeated mate cycles—a practical choice for field-serviceable or test equipment where the connector sees regular disconnect. A latch holder on the shroud locks the mating plug in place, preventing accidental disconnection under vibration or cable strain.
