Right-angle header with board lock for vibration resistance
The 5-103672-3 is a 4-position, single-row, right-angle through-hole header from the AMPMODU MTE series. The right-angle orientation routes the connector parallel to the board, saving z-height in board-edge or mezzanine applications. The keying slot prevents mis-mating with unkeyed receptacles, reducing assembly errors. The 100.0 µinch (2.54 µm) tin finish is suited for low-cycle applications where cost per position matters more than high mating cycle life. The shrouded 4-wall housing protects the male pins from damage during handling and mating.

Board layout and termination notes
The right-angle through-hole termination requires a PCB footprint with 0.100" pitch holes. The contact length on the post side is 0.130" (3.30 mm), which sets the board thickness range for proper solder fillet formation. The UL94 V-0 housing meets flame-retardant requirements for equipment inside an enclosure.
