Board-to-board or cable header with shrouded pins and board lock
This 5-103672-4 is a 5-position, single-row header from the AMPMODU MTE series, designed for board-to-board or cable connections on a 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch. The shrouded 4-wall housing protects the square male pins during mating and handling, and the integral board lock secures the header through wave solder before the mating half is attached. Rated 3 A per contact with 100 µin tin plating on both the mating and post surfaces, this header is suited for general-purpose, automotive, medical, and telecom applications where repeated mating cycles are not the primary concern.
Right-angle mounting and keying slot for assembly
The through-hole, right-angle orientation places the mating face parallel to the PCB, useful for board-edge or low-profile cable exits. A keying slot in the housing prevents mismating with non-keyed receptacles, and the latch holder fastening type provides a positive lock with the mating AMPMODU MTE receptacle. The insulation material is thermoplastic rated UL94 V-0, and the operating temperature range is -65°C to 105°C.
