The 0.100" (2.54mm) pitch matches standard ribbon cable and mating receptacles. The keying slot prevents mismating with non-keyed receptacles. Gold plating on the mating surface (30.0µin) supports repeated mating cycles in corrosive or field-service environments; the solder tails are tin-plated (100.0µin) for reliable soldering.
The operating temperature range of -65°C to 105°C covers industrial cabinet and under-hood environments, with a UL94 V-0 thermoplastic housing that meets flame-retardant requirements for enclosed equipment.
