Current and contact finish for signal duty
The gold mating finish at 15 µinch (0.38µm) over nickel provides reliable contact resistance over repeated mating cycles — expect several hundred cycles before wear-through, making it suitable for test equipment or modular assemblies that get reconfigured. The tin-plated solder tails (100 µinch / 2.54µm) are standard for wave-solder or hand-solder assembly.
