60-position SMT header with board lock
The 5-104549-8: The 1.27 mm pitch keeps the footprint tight — 60 circuits in a row spacing of 2.54 mm means the board real estate is about half what a 2.54 mm pitch would need. The mating contacts are gold over nickel, 30 µinch thick — that plating grade handles the 500+ mating cycles typical of a field-serviceable connector. The tin-plated posts (150 µinch) are for the solder joint, not the mating interface. A board lock on each end anchors the header during SMT reflow and resists shear from the cable or board mating force. The 4-wall shroud protects the pins from stubbing during blind mating.
This header mates with AMPMODU System 50 receptacles — the same 1.27 mm pitch, 2-row layout.
