Tin Plating — Signal-Duty Contact Surface
The 5-146262-5: Both the mating contact and the solder post are finished with 100.0 µinch (2.54 µm) tin over copper alloy. For a board-to-board or cable interconnect that mates during assembly and stays mated, this is a cost-effective choice.
The 3 A figure is the per-contact maximum at ambient — derate above 105°C per the manufacturer's curve. The UL94 V-0 LCP housing holds up in equipment that requires a flame-rated enclosure.
Kinked pin, solder termination for through-hole mounting. Post length is 0.125" (3.18 mm) — a standard board thickness fit for most 0.062" PCBs.
