The 5-147383-1 is a 10-position, dual-row SMT header from the AMPMODU 50/50 Grid series, designed for parallel board stacking. The mated stack height of 9.91 mm is fixed by the 4-wall shroud and the 0.120" (3.05 mm) mating pin length; this sets the z-height budget between the two PCBs.
SMT Assembly and Board Retention
This header includes board locks that anchor the part to the PCB during reflow, preventing skew from the paste's surface tension. The pick-and-place feature (a flat vacuum-pick area on top of the shroud) lets the placement head handle the part without a custom nozzle. The SMT termination and the board lock together keep the header seated against the board under the shear load of a mated cable assembly.
