Mating contacts are beryllium copper with 25µinch gold over nickel — a production-grade finish that holds up to repeated IC insertions in test sockets, programming fixtures, and field-replaceable modules. The gold layer resists oxidation in environments where the socket sees intermittent power-down cycles.
Thermal and Compliance Ratings
The UL94 V-0 flammability rating means it passes the vertical burn test for equipment inside an enclosure, a common requirement for power supplies and industrial controllers.
