Obsolete — Sourcing Reality for 5-1634500-2
No formal replacement part number is published by TE for this connector. If you are maintaining an existing harness design, the practical move is to qualify a functionally equivalent BNC plug from the same ZDC / Greenpar family or a drop-in 50 Ohm BNC from another manufacturer — but that cross-reference is not documented here and must be verified against your cable type and performance requirements.
This plug accepts RG-58C, 141A, 303, Belden 9907, KX15, URM43, and 76 coax — the common 50 Ohm small-diameter cables used in test and low-power RF. The crimp sleeve and center contact are included; you need a hex crimp tool with the correct die for the cable jacket OD. The silver-colored housing and gold-plated brass center contact are standard for indoor-rated BNC plugs — no IP seal, so keep this out of washdown or outdoor direct-exposure runs.
