Adapter Identity and Signal Path
The 5-1634526-1: The right-angle body lets you route a cable perpendicular to the mating axis — useful in tight rack spaces or where a straight adapter would strain the connector interface.
Build and Materials
Housing is zinc alloy with a nickel finish — standard for RF adapter bodies that need shielding and corrosion resistance. The centre contacts are gold-plated over brass (pin side) and phosphor bronze (socket side), giving good mating cycle life for field-swapped connections. Dielectric is polyethylene, a common low-loss insulator at sub-GHz frequencies. Fastening uses bayonet lock on both ends, so it mates and unmates with a quarter-turn — no tools needed.
