TNC Bulkhead Jack for RF Signal Paths
The 5-1814804-1: The connector ships as a kit including the jack, lockwasher, nut, and solder tag — four pieces total — for a complete bulkhead installation.
The 4 GHz bandwidth ceiling defines the upper frequency limit before signal degradation exceeds acceptable return loss — this jack supports L-band and S-band applications but not C-band or higher.
There is no direct pin-compatible drop-in from the same manufacturer; any cross-reference would need to match the TNC interface, 50 Ohm impedance, panel-mount bulkhead form factor, and the 4-piece kit configuration.
This jack mates with any standard TNC male plug having a threaded coupling nut and a 50 Ohm interface. Termination is solder cup on the centre contact and a separate solder tag for shield termination — the tag is included in the kit and connects the cable braid to the nickel-plated zinc body. The bulkhead mount uses the rear-side nut and lockwasher to secure the connector through a panel cutout; the nut tightens against the panel from the rear, so the jack body stays on the cable side.
