Connector identity and RF fit
The TE Connectivity 5-1814818-1 is a ZDC Greenpar series UHF mini plug, male pin connector designed for free-hanging (in-line) cable termination. It is a threaded, single-port RF interconnect rated to 2 GHz with a non-constant impedance interface — typical for legacy UHF-band applications where a constant 50 Ohm line is not required. The connector ships as a three-piece kit: the connector body, one crimp contact, and one ferrule.
Cable and termination
This plug accepts RG-58C and 141A cable groups. Both the shield and the centre contact are crimp-terminated — the shield termination is crimped over the ferrule, and the centre contact is crimped onto the brass pin with gold plating. The dielectric is polyoxymethylene (POM) acetal. The zinc body is finished in nickel, and the housing colour is silver.
Electrical and mechanical ratings
Rated at 335 V and 2 GHz maximum frequency, the connector is specified for 500 mating cycles. The gold-plated centre contact supports repeated mate/unmate cycles in field-service environments without degradation.
