15-position 3-row receptacle for power distribution
The 5-1971875-7 is a 15-position, 3-row receptacle housing from the TE Power Triple Lock, High Temp series. It uses a 6.00mm pitch and 8.10mm row spacing, giving it the footprint for moderate-current power distribution in wire-to-board applications. The housing accepts tab-type crimp contacts (sold separately) and secures them with a latch lock.
The 6.00mm pitch and 8.10mm row spacing are wider than typical signal connectors, which means the housing can carry higher current per circuit when paired with the correct crimp terminal. The 3-row layout packs 15 circuits into a panel cutout that a 2-row design would need more board area to achieve. That temperature range covers most automotive and industrial cabinet environments, but the housing's thermal limit will be set by the current load and the terminal's own rating.
