Sealing and Retention in Harness Builds
The sealed construction and the integrated CPA lock are the two features that define this housing's role. The glass-filled PA66 insulation material holds up to the -40°C to 150°C operating range, which covers engine-bay and high-heat industrial cabinet environments.
The HPF 1.2 terminal system uses a 1.2 mm wide contact blade; the mating male header or plug will share the same 4.00 mm pitch and HPF series designation. For a harness build, confirm the wire gauge range of the selected terminal (typically 0.50 to 1.50 mm² for the HPF 1.2 contact) and use the correct crimp tooling to achieve the specified pull-force.
