For applications needing more than 5 circuits with higher mating durability, the 5-534998-5 is the better fit. The 1-2823056-2 is a 12-position dual-row receptacle with a tin mating finish (118 µinch) and surface-mount termination. It is rated for 100 V and uses a different housing material (PA46). The 5-534998-5 uses through-hole solder and gold mating finish, which is preferred when the assembly must survive multiple rework cycles or corrosive atmospheres.
