The 5102159-8 is a 34-position, dual-row, shrouded pin header from the TE Connectivity AMP-Latch series. A keying slot and mounting flange are built into the housing. The keying slot prevents mismating with non-keyed connectors, and the flange gives the header a mechanical anchor to the board beyond the solder joints.
Right-angle mounting and board fit
That saves z-height compared to a vertical header, which matters in enclosures where clearance above the board is tight. The mating pin length is 0.240" (6.10 mm), and the post length is 0.110" (2.79 mm). The 0.315" (8.00 mm) insulation height gives the shrouding enough depth to fully seat the mating connector.
This is a signal-level current — not for power distribution — and the 34 circuits give a total of 34 A across the connector if all pins are loaded.
