40-position right-angle header for IDC cable assemblies
The 5102159-9 is a 40-position, dual-row, shrouded pin header from the TE AMP-Latch series. It mates with standard 0.100-inch pitch IDC ribbon cable receptacles, making it the board-side half of a board-to-cable/wire interconnect. A keying slot and mounting flange add mis-mate prevention and mechanical hold-down to the board.
Current rating, plating, and temperature range
The gold layer is thick enough for several hundred insertions in a field-service or test fixture role.
This header mates with AMP-Latch IDC receptacles and strain-relief covers that accept 0.100-inch pitch ribbon cable.
