2.50 mm Pitch, Single-Row Unshrouded Header
The 5164713-8 is an 8-position, single-row unshrouded header from TE's Mini-Match series, built for board-to-cable/wire interconnects. Unshrouded means the rectangular tab contacts are fully exposed — the mating receptacle provides the shroud and any keying. The glass-filled PBT housing carries a UL94 V-0 rating, so it's fine inside equipment that needs a flame-rated enclosure.
Through-Hole Solder Termination, Green Housing
The header terminates via through-hole solder — the 0.126" (3.20 mm) post length gives enough standoff for the solder fillet to form a reliable joint on a standard 1.6 mm PCB. Overall contact length is 0.358" (9.09 mm), which sets the pin height above the board after soldering. The green insulation colour is a visual cue on the assembly line — it distinguishes this Mini-Match header from other series in the same bin. All 8 positions are loaded, so there's no optional empty slot to account for in the harness routing.
