BNC Plug for RG-142 — 50 Ohm, 4 GHz, Crimp Termination

It is no longer in active factory production. If the application can tolerate a parametric equivalent — same BNC interface, 50 Ohm, crimp for RG-142 — a current-production BNC plug from the same or another manufacturer is the practical path. That substitution must be validated against the system's mechanical envelope and electrical requirements.
This plug is specifically listed for RG-142, 142A, and 142B cable. RG-142 is a double-shielded, PTFE-dielectric coax with a solid or stranded center conductor around 0.037-inch diameter. The crimp ferrule and center contact are sized for that cable's jacket and dielectric OD — using a different cable risks poor crimp retention or impedance mismatch. The shield is crimped through the ferrule; the center contact is crimped separately onto the stripped center conductor. The bayonet lock engages with a quarter turn; hand-tight should seal it for most indoor applications, but a half-turn loose is a dropout if the cable gets tugged.
