The 5226993-2: The bayonet lock provides a quick quarter-turn mate, and the bulkhead front-side nut secures it through a panel cutout. The impedance is fixed at 50 Ohm, which means it matches standard 50 Ohm coaxial cable and test equipment — no impedance bump at the interface if the cable and PCB trace are also 50 Ohm. The 500-cycle mating rating is typical for a BNC in test-bench or field-service duty; the tin-plated center contact is adequate for that cycle count, though gold would carry lower passive intermodulation in sensitive receive paths.
The jack mounts through a panel hole and is clamped by the front-side nut — the bulkhead flange sits on the outside, the nut tightens from the front. The shield termination is solder; the centre contact is also solder termination. That means you need access to both sides of the panel for soldering, and the solder joints carry both the signal and the ground reference.
