The 0.60 mm pitch forces a dense via escape pattern; a multi-layer breakout is typical for routing all 100 signals out of the connector footprint. The 0.128" (3.25 mm) height above the board on the receptacle side leaves clearance for passives on the underside of the mating board.
The center strip contact arrangement provides a controlled ground-signal-ground interface that helps maintain signal integrity through the mezzanine stack.
