Self-Mating Power Housing for Panel Feed-Through
It uses a self-mating connector interface — meaning two identical housings mate directly without separate male and female halves. The 7.92 mm (0.312") pitch gives enough spacing for power-level wiring in a compact panel cutout. The housing accepts non-gendered crimp terminals (ordered separately), so one terminal type serves both sides of the connection. Rated for -40°C to 75°C operation, the natural nylon body suits indoor industrial cabinets and automotive interior harnesses where a panel feed-through is needed.
Panel Cutout and Mounting
This housing mounts through a panel with the 7.92 mm pitch determining the hole spacing. The single-row 3-position layout keeps the panel cutout compact.
Contacts Sold Separately — What to Order
The non-gendered contact design means the same crimp terminal works in both halves of the self-mating pair. For the Power Lock series, TE offers loose-piece crimp terminals (check the 54489 base series) that accept typical power-level wire gauges. Order the housing and terminals as separate BOM lines; the housing alone won't carry current.
