30-position right-angle header for board-to-cable/wire
Rated at 1 A per contact and 250 VAC, this header suits signal-level interconnects where per-circuit current stays under 1 A. Latch lock/eject hooks on the long side hold the mated pair together against vibration and cable pull. The keying slot and mounting flange add polarization and board retention.
The 0.100" pitch sets the board footprint — each pin occupies a 2.54 mm grid hole. With 30 positions in two rows, the connector spans 15 pin positions per row, which means a 14-pin-wide footprint plus the latch hooks extending beyond the last pin. The 0.110" (2.79 mm) solder tail length fits standard 1.6 mm thick PCBs with enough protrusion for a reliable solder fillet. Right-angle mounting places the connector body 0.315" (8.00 mm) above the board surface at the insulator. The mating pin length of 0.240" (6.10 mm) engages fully with the receptacle before the latch hooks snap. Board layout must allow clearance for the eject hooks on both ends — they extend beyond the pin field and need free space to operate.
The header is packaged in trays, which is standard for through-hole connectors of this size.
