26-position dual-row header — the BOM-fit check
The 1 A per-contact rating signals this is a signal-duty header, not a power interconnect. At 1 A the temperature rise stays within the UL94 V-0 housing limit, but the narrow pin cross-section and 0.100" pitch density cap the current well below what a power header would carry.
30 µinch gold — mating cycle life for field-service gear
Latch lock and keying — vibration-resistant mate
The fastening type is latch lock/eject hooks, short — these snap over the mating receptacle's latch shoulders and provide positive retention against cable strain and vibration. The keying slot in the shroud prevents cross-mating with a differently keyed receptacle, which matters when multiple AMP-Latch headers share a board. A mounting flange on each end gives an optional screw-down anchor to the PCB or panel.
