Stacking Heights and Ground Bus
This receptacle supports three mated stacking heights: 10.92 mm, 17.78 mm, and 18.75 mm — the actual height depends on the mating header's post length. The integrated ground bus plane provides a low-inductance return path for high-speed signals, reducing loop area and common-mode noise.
No official replacement part number is published. The 40-position, 0.050" pitch Micro-Strip footprint is not a standard commodity, so a board redesign to an active series (e.g., TE's 0.050" pitch Mezalok or a 1.27 mm pitch header from another manufacturer) may be the long-term path.
