Battery Power Header for 12 V Distribution
The 0.197" (5.00 mm) pitch provides enough spacing for the 7 A per-circuit rating at 12 V, making it suited for moderate power distribution in battery-powered equipment, UPS systems, or low-voltage DC bus bars. The through-hole solder termination secures the header to the PCB, while the integral flange allows panel-mounting in an enclosure wall. Left-hand keying prevents accidental mating with a right-hand-keyed receptacle — a deliberate orientation lock for harness assembly.
Construction and Contact Plating
The header uses brass male blades with a nickel contact finish of 74.8 µin (1.90 µm) thickness.
Mating and Assembly Fit
For a build-to-print harness, the full BOM includes the receptacle housing and the crimp terminals (sold separately). The flange provides two mounting holes for screw-down panel retention if the application sees vibration or cable strain.
