Battery Header, 5 Positions at 5.00 mm Pitch
It uses a 5.00 mm pitch — wide enough for moderate power routing on a PCB without requiring a large board footprint. Rated 7 A per circuit at 50 V, this header handles the current draw of a multi-cell battery pack or a moderate-power peripheral. The nickel contact finish at 74.8 µin (1.90 µm) is thicker than a flash plating, giving it reasonable durability for the mating cycles a battery connection sees over the life of a consumer or industrial device. The housing is black liquid crystal polymer (LCP), rated for continuous operation from -30°C to 70°C. LCP holds its dimensional stability through wave solder and resists the brief temperature spikes of the soldering process.
Board-Mount and Termination Details
Termination is through-hole with a kinked pin. The brass contacts with nickel finish are a standard choice for battery applications where the mating cycle count is moderate — typically a few dozen over the product life.
