Gold mating surface and press-fit termination
Mating contacts are gold-plated at 30.0 µinch (0.76 µm) over brass — sufficient for repeated mating cycles and corrosion resistance in humid or medical-grade environments. The post tails are tin-plated at 100.0 µinch (2.54 µm) for solderability. Termination is press-fit or solder, through-hole, with a post length of 0.130" (3.30 mm) for standard PCB thickness.
