Press-Fit Socket for 0.030" Boards
The 6-1437514-7: This HOLTITE socket from TE Connectivity uses press-fit termination — no solder required. It's built for a board thickness of 0.030" (0.76 mm) and a mounting hole diameter of 0.041" (1.04 mm). The beryllium copper contact material provides good spring properties for repeated insertion.
Pin Diameter Range and Plating
Accepts round pins from 0.016" to 0.021" diameter (0.41 mm to 0.53 mm) and square pins up to 0.011" x 0.018" (0.28 mm x 0.46 mm). The tin-lead contact finish is 80 µinch (2.03 µm) thick — a heavy plating that supports multiple insertion cycles in a production environment.
